Greetings Supa Soul family. We’ve been absentee for a minute getting ready to come back better than ever in January and enjoying the holidays. I know C-Rich is the main DJ around here, but every year, I like to put together a mix of my favorite hip hop and R&B tracks of the year. There’s some major stuff, some underground, some local, and even some of my original production work. Listen, enjoy, tweet, blog, pass it on, and let me know what you think. For better or worse, 2009 has certainly been a year to remember. The first Black president. The last dance of MJ. 10.2% of people out on the street. 100% of big banks doing just fine. True, we all have swine flu, but maybe soon we’ll all have health insurance for it.
In any case, with the holidays coming up in December, the sound system is going on Christmas vacation early, so this Sunday, November 15th, we present The Final Supa Soul Sunday of 2009! Come out to Cantina Laredo for our usual blend of the best music, great food, drank specials and football on the flat screens. Take one for the road with us, and let’s all get on to 2010.

First of all, a big ol’ Supa Soul thank you to everybody who came out to Cantina Laredo yesterday. We had one of our better turnouts, and we showed why we really are the best Sunday event in ATX. We don’t rest for a minute though, and we need you all to stick with us. Within the week, we’ll have a firm date for October’s event.
